Large Senior & Large Senior Coed Worlds Preview

The Large Senior division is always a fan-favorite at Worlds, and this weekend it promises to be another nail-biter as the Big Five teams fight to add another world champion globe to their collection. This season, all the big titles so far have gone home with the Stingray All Stars Orange, who won Cheersport Nationals, NCA All Star Nationals, and the UCA International All Star Championship. In fact, the only competition they didn’t win was the first of their season, The Majors in January, where they placed fourth behind Cheer Athletics Panthers, Cheer Extreme Senior Elite, and Maryland Twisters F5. But with all the teams implementing big upgrades in the weeks leading up to Worlds, the first place globe is up for the taking.

The Large Senior Coed division has also been dominated by just one team all season, with Top Gun Large Coed winning the Varsity Triple Crown, losing only one time, coming in second to Cheer Athletics Cheetahs at The Majors. You won’t want to miss Top Gun’s performance, along with last year’s world champions, the Cheer Athletics Cheetahs. Also keep an eye on Stingray All Stars Steel and Cheer Extreme Coed Elite, who always put on great performances at Worlds, as well as California All Stars Coed, who came in third behind TGLC and Cheetahs at NCA in February.

Semifinals for the Large Senior Coed division begin at 10am EDT on Saturday, with finals being held at 10am on Sunday. Semifinals for the Large Senior division begin at 7:30pm EDT on Saturday, with finals at 8:30pm on Sunday.
