NCA High School Nationals 2017

f3b52286350aa5f7642e032dab6407fb

High School Varsity and JV teams gathered in Dallas this weekend to compete at NCA High School Nationals, one of the two major national competitions for high school cheerleading. Teams competed in either the Game Day division or the Performance division, in hopes of bringing home one of the famous megaphone-shaped NCA trophies. In the Game Day divisions, teams competed a routine comprised of their school’s fight song, a timeout cheer, and a timeout dance. Each section was scored separately, and the winner was the team with the highest combined score of the three sections. In the performance division, teams competed with a traditional cheer and dance routine in either the novice, intermediate, or advanced divisions, depending on skill level.
